Holiday Ornament Swap

Today is the day I get to share with you the lovely beaded ornament I received in the 2nd Annual Ornament Swap hosted by Sally of The Studio Sublime.

My partner for this swap was the delightful Julie Anne Leggett of The Peaceful Bead. Here is the absolutely gorgeous ornament she created!

Blue lampwork bead by HMB Studios

Swirling lampwork bead by Anne's Glass Jewels

Beaded/wire wrapped quartz with it's subtle snow globe effect

As beautiful as the beads are in this ornament, the precise wire work, done with a lovely aqua-colored wire, is what makes this such an incredible treasure.  Those wraps and spring rings are perfect!

I love this ornament, Julie Anne, and I am so very grateful that you created it for me.  I will treasure it always ... thank you!

I love this ornament - her beaded wire wrap on the drop bead is phenominal - what a gorgeous effect that makes! You are right - the colored wire "makes it"! Beautiful!

Since I have discovered just how lousy I am at any wire work, I really appreciate folks that can do it. I'm with you, I love that colored wire! What a beautiful addition to your collection!
