I am so excited to be participating in A Time to Stitch Seven (ATTS7) hosted by Therese & Christine! Bead embroidery has been something I've been wanting to try for a very long time, but I always felt so intimidated by it. The bead embroidered pieces I admired were so amazing that I didn't know how to start. So I researched ... A LOT! I watched video after video until I could no longer avoid NOT starting. So, I began ...
I began to bezel the beautiful round cab I won that Therese created, along with two Marsha Neal ceramic components that I found at my local bead store.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. Thank you Therese and Christine for pushing us outside of our creative comfort zones and expanding our technique tool boxes with your challenges!
Happy Hopping Everyone!

I'm loving how you used the O beads! What a perfect complement to the pretty cab and Marsha Neal pieces. Can't wait to see this one finished. Now you've got me wanting to go find pieces to make individual components! I think I've only seen bigger finished pieces, and these are just adorable!
Lola - you are off to an amazing start with these lovelies!!! They will be beautiful together or even on their own!! Brava!
Hi Lola,
I am so proud of you my friend for stepping outside of your comfort zone and creating three beautiful components for a pendant or a bracelet or pendant and earrings... I love the colors you chose to go with the petrified bog cabochon I sent to you, great job. Thank you for participating once again in the ATTS challenges. I hope you will be back for ATTS 8, we are not sure yet what it will be, so stay tuned.

Ooo lovely stuff. I think you've used the perfect colours there, they look beautiful and I'm sure when you put them together to make your bracelet it will look superb.
Lola ~ so good to see you here ~ thanks so much for singing up for the hop!
I LOVE your 3 cabs!!! The colors and the beadwork are wonderful! Very earthy and full of possibilities as to how the end result will look. I LOVE how you used those "O" beads ( i am assuming they are O beads, but brilliant look nonetheless) and how you framed the cabs with them ~ what a fabulous looK!
lovely pieces and an amazing first start to bead embroidery! that will make a lovely necklace for you to wear
Hi Lola, You'd never guess that bead embroidery was fairly new to you. The cabs and colors are perfect together and your workmanship is perfection. Please share your bracelet when it is finished. I'm sure it will be gorgeous!
Great job, your bead embroidery looks awesome , I love the complimentary cabs you picked and the cab you won Is just gorgeous. These will make a stunning bracelet! Awesome job!
This is your first bead embroidery? I NEVER would have guessed - terrific work! They'll make a beautiful bracelet, although I can also see them lined up as a really pretty pendant as well. Please share the final result when you finish it!
I'm right there with Shirley - your use of the O-beads rocks. I had to enlarge the photo to get a really good look at what you did. Therese's cabs and your bead embroidery are a truly beautiful combination. They are lovely little treasures just as they are.
Lovely beginnings, great beadwork around beautiful components, they match perfectly together and I hope you'll show the finished piece.
Those are simply gorgeous... not sure how you achieve that lovely look on the bezel, but I love it! Beautiful colours and perfect match altogether.
Great job! Looks like it's going to be very wearable
Your did an amazing job on your components. The colors are well chosen.
How stunning! I love how the beads and cabs collaborate with each other! Great job! Thanks for sharing with us!
Gorgeous. Therese's cab and those two ceramic components go together so perfectly. I love the O-beads, exceptional bezelling. Not sure if bezelling is even a word (not to be confused with embezzling lol). Please post the final as I can't wait to see how you finished it off!
Lovely!! Looking forward to seeing the end result.
I really like what you have created, the way you have used the beads around the edge looks so cool like little set stones! and such beautiful choice of colours!
Wonderful job on your components! I loved the beading the cabs.....they sat because I didn't want to stop and make necklaces! Have fun finishing them off!
Hi Lola, Kudos to you for trying something new. You did a great job. Bead embroidery is my favorite thing to do. If you want to learn how to design bead embroidery I recommend "Dimensional Bead Embroidery" or Creating with Cabochons" by Jamie Cloud Eakin. She really teaches how to do bead embroidery not just to do a project.
Very pretty piece. I would love to see how you finish it. It would make a great pendant or barette or a versatile barette/pendant combo...
Great job.
I would have never guess this was your first rodeo with bead embroidery! These components are really divine. I especially like the earthiness of them. Fantastic job!
